Founders

Eirik Knutshaug

CEO
Eirik Knutshaug is CEO for the company. Eirik has a technical and administrative background combined with long standing experience with start-ups, with one developing full scale. He has a large network within electronics and has had responsibility involving M&A and project financing within multiple companies.


Fritz Bekkedal

Co-founder & Inventor

Fritz Bekkedal is the founder and former CEO of Aquasonics. He has a background as Research Director at SINTEF and Kongsberg Marine, and is the creator of the patented system concept behind the company's technology for combating sea lice.

Bjørnar Johansen

Co-founder
Bjørnar Johansen has extensive experience from fishing and aquaculture. With a background from Blått Kompetansesenter, he has in-depth insight into existing de-lousing methods and their weaknesses, which Aquasonics utilizes.

Guttorm Herold Kristiansen

Co-founder
Guttorm Herold Kristiansen has extensive experience in developing IT systems and has been responsible for programming PLC signals to transducers. He has overseen the processes in the laboratory work.

Bjørnar Johansen

Co-founder
Bjørnar Johansen has extensive experience from fishing and aquaculture. With a background from Blått Kompetansesenter, he has in-depth insight into existing de-lousing methods and their weaknesses, which Aquasonics utilizes.

Guttorm Herold Kristiansen

Co-founder
Guttorm Herold Kristiansen has extensive experience in developing IT systems and has been responsible for programming PLC signals to transducers.

Leiv Midthassel

Chairman
Leiv Midthassel is a board member with extensive experience from founding and scaling Remora Robotics AS. Leiv will contribute relevant experience from the construction of subsea components, communication, and control of equipment that closely mirrors the same challenges Remora has handled.


Even Johansen

Operational Manager
Even Knutshaug is a trained fisherman with 11 years of experience in aquaculture. Extensive background in startups, having built multiple companies from the ground up. Extremely solution-oriented.
